The Miami Dolphins and DI Zach Sieler have reached an agreement to keep the lineman in Miami through the 2026 season. While all eyes have been on Christian Wilkins and his hold-in, his line-mate Sieler has made some serious bank.
Sieler joined the Dolphins in 2019 after being cut by the Ravens and famously spent his first year in Miami living in a RV. Since then he has gone on to be a key member of the Dolphins defensive front amassing 11 sacks and 86 pressures in his four seasons in south Florida.
EXPECT A BIG SEASON FROM ZACH SIELER
New DC Vic Fangio has clearly taking a liking to Sieler as the new contract puts him in the ranks of the big boys in terms of monetary reward. And Fangio’s system asks a great deal from the line both in run defence and in getting to the QB.
While Sieler’s sack numbers may not be the greatest, with 4 in the most recent campaign, he has steadily improved his QB pressures with 31 in 2022 up from 23 the season before. This is the season to expect Zach Sieler to make a big leap forward.
