Will Tua Tagovailoa be good to go Sunday?

With the Dolphins heading into their final five-game push for the playoffs all the attention is on Tua Tagovailoa and that swollen left thumb. With the Cincinnati Bengals waiting in the wings on Sunday Dolphins fans will be hoping the rookie is ready to go.

All day last Sunday Tua was on the sideline with his left hand firmly wedged inside that Dolphins hoodie as fans, media, pundits, and pretty much everyone tried to sneak a peek at it.

Tua Tagovailoa still rehabbing thumb

Speaking earlier Brian Flores was his usual unhelpful-presser-self. “Tua’s been rehabbing, he’s been getting treatment,” Flores said. “He’s working hard to get back in there. We’ll see about today. I wish I had a crystal ball to see he’s going to practice fully. We’ve got to get out there and see. He’s doing everything he can and we’ll evaluate that as we go.”

So we’ll have to wait and see what comes out of practice on Wednesday.

One thing we do know is that Tua Tagovailoa is the only future QB Miami has, so the quicker he can get back on the field and take his rookie knocks the better.
