No. Brian Flores will not be on the hot seat in 2021

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports put out an article last Friday listing 9 NFL coaches who will be on the hot seat during the 2021 NFL season. The article was pretty accurate up until you get to the final coach on the list, Brian Flores. You all were probably just as confused as we were. Before we go any further let’s just say especially after Miami’s quick turnaround season in 2020 and the exceptional job Flores and Grier have done this offseason to set the Dolphins up for long term success, there is no way Brian Flores is facing any kind of heat going into the season, even non-Dolphins fans should be able to see that.

First Tua, Now Brian Flores…

Seeing the media go after Miami, especially their QB Tua Tagovailoa is something we all should be used to by now. Now they have gone after Brian Flores, who has done an exceptional job his first two seasons as Dolphins’ head coach. It’s just at the point now where you have to laugh it off, and patiently wait for the season to sit back and watch this team prove everybody wrong. Paying any sort of attention to this is just a huge waste of time that is only going to make you want to panic, just like how everybody freaked out a couple of weeks ago when Tua threw 5 interceptions during minicamp. It’s nothing more than just a distraction.

The only problem Miami needs to be focused on right now is Xavien Howard’s holdout, who is remaining firm on his request for a raise.

Only time will tell on this predicament but let’s cross our fingers that both sides will find a way to work it out.  2021 is going to be a special one DolFANS, don’t let the media’s antics ruin your anticipation.
