Dolphins humiliated by Chiefs 26-7

The Dolphins season is done after the fourth coldest game in NFL history separated the men from the boys and the Chiefs dominated 26-7.

After much promise and challenging for the number 1 seed just two weeks ago the Dolphins season is over and done with more questions than answers hanging over the franchise once again.

Dolphins season all hot air

After lighting up the scoreboard against the lowly Broncos much was made of the Dolphins offensive prowess. But on the big stage they managed just 199 yards passing, and 264 overall.

The offence was disjointed and overmatched, both on the field and on the sidelines. This game will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of Dolphins fans who will now have to sit through months of pointless soundbites from players and coaches who didn’t look like they had the fight in them at all.

“Losing is never fun, and when the stakes are higher — when it’s playoff time — you feel that maybe 10 times more,” said Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa. “We’ve got to live with that loss.”

“We knew they were going to put a lot of attention toward our receivers,” Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said. “We thought we had the right plan and obviously it wasn’t, and hats off to them for executing their plan in the most important time.”
