This has been a long time coming for Miami Dolphins fans. Not since the days of Dan Marino has Miami had an exciting offence that could put up masses of points with regularity.
But on Sunday Tua Tagovailoa, Mike McDaniel and co took it to a whole other level scoring the second highest points tally in the history of the National Football League regular season. Scoring an almost unbelievable 10 (yes TEN) Touchdowns on the day, and even being sporting in turning down a last seconds field goal attempt to go for the record points tally.
DOLPHINS OFFENCE RAMPANT
While Tua Tagovailoa was great (23/26-309-4-0) and Raheem Mostert was brilliant (13-82-3 and 7-60-1) it was rookie De’Von Achane who stole the show with 18 carries for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns, and 4 catches for 30 yards and another 2 scores.
It was an all-round offensive masterclass by the Dolphins.
The Dolphins travel to Buffalo next week for a key divisional matchup that could see the Dolphins move 2.5 games clear of their only genuine rival for the AFC east crown.
